Privacy policy

This privacy policy explains which personal data we process when you visit our website and use the B2B shop, for what purpose, and what rights you have. The Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) applies.

What data we process

• Contact form: name, email, company, phone, interest and your message, in order to answer your enquiry.
• Application for B2B access: company, contact person, address, email, phone and your further details, in order to check whether we can grant you retailer access and then to manage you as a customer.
• Customer account and orders: account and address data, orders and related communication, in order to process, deliver and invoice orders.
• Technical data: when you visit the website, technically necessary information such as IP address, time, page visited and browser is briefly stored in server logs to ensure operation and security.

Cookies

We only use technically necessary cookies, for example so that you stay logged in after logging in. We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking and do not use any analytics services.

Service providers and processing abroad

We use carefully selected service providers who process data on our behalf:

• Shopify (Shopify International Ltd., Ireland, and affiliated companies, including in Canada and the USA): shop system, customer accounts, orders, product images.
• Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany): operation of the web server.
• Microsoft (Microsoft 365): email communication.

Data may be transferred to countries outside Switzerland. Transfers to countries without an adequate level of data protection only take place with appropriate safeguards, in particular the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, or on the basis of certification under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Videos from YouTube (in privacy-enhanced mode) or Vimeo may be embedded on individual pages. When a video is played, data is transmitted to the respective provider.

Retention

We keep personal data for as long as is necessary for the respective purpose or required by law (e.g. business records for ten years). Enquiries without a further business relationship are deleted once they have been dealt with and there is no obligation to retain them.

Your rights

You can request information about the data we process about you, as well as its correction, deletion or release. To do so, write to us at welcome@trendundsport.ch. You can also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

Changes

We may amend this privacy policy at any time. The version published on this website applies.
